Resume is a tool to fulfill our future employment dreams. Though it can’t guarantee us the job, but it paves or makes the path to get it so. The main aim of the resume is to attract the recruiter so as to get to call for the interview. While writing the Human resource HR resume, It has less to do with the experience because the main work of the HR is to maintain several records. This experience can be gained by other sources also. Here are some of the useful tips while writing the HR resume:
- First decide the type of resume whether it must be functional or chronological.
- Then, decide the format of the resume. The basic format is objective, personal information, experience, education, accomplishments and references.
- The job objective must have your career goals mentioned in it.
- The personal information contains name, postal address, contact no., email-address.
- Experience section must not be overwritten. The experience must be in chronological order along with the name of the industry and the job profile. If you area fresher, enlist all the activities done during the education.
- Educational details must enclose all the academic details with the grades, name of the institution and location.
- The achievements in the previous institution must be highlighted as it tells houw skilled you are.
- Proper references must be given if any.
- The resume must be error free.
- Make the use of keywords wherever required.
- Highlight all the strengths like confidence in work, positive attitude, leadership, coordination.
- List out the area of expertise and your contribution in that area.
