Executive Resume

Preparing an executive is bit different from that of other resumes. Here the job seeker must decide the type of the resume that is, whether it must be functional, chronological or combinational one. Mostly, chronological type of format is used.

Here are some of the tips while writing the executive resume:
  • It content in the resume must be very specific.
  • Start with the PERSONAL DETAILS like name, postal address, contact no, email-address. In this type of resume, all the information must appear on the top and left hand side of the resume.
  • Then I proceed with writing the WORK EXPERIENCE. Start with the latest one. Write the name of the company, location and also mention the job profile. Write the responsibilities handled and performed in short way. Don’t mention more about the company, but mention the actual work and the output given by you to the company. Write the area of expertise.
  • Next is the EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION. Mention all the educational details from the high school to graduation or post graduation. Here, also write the name of the institution, location and the academic grades you had scored. Start writing from the graduation or PG and downwards.
  • It is always good to mention the training courses you have done, if any. It adds up value to your resume.
  • Write the major ACHIEVEMENTS in your work you had done. Describe in short how fruitful it was to your company.
  • Highlight all your skills and strength.
  • Write precisely and accurately
  • Information in such type of resume must be short and specific.
